IMAGE OF THE DAY?

Hillary Clinton reiterates her firm support to the Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who is under fire domestically:the country's Truth and Reconciliation Commission wants her barred from office because of her association with warlords during the civil war.

  1. I think America is supporting Liberia's president because she is one of the few who is willing to have the American military base (AFRICOM) on her country's soil. You scratch my back, I scratch yours, kind of thing. My opinion only of course, backed by no evidence whatsoever.

  2. I think Liberia's issue should be tackled more sensitively though fairly. We need the unity now than ever.It is time for us to wake-up and stop been "pushed" around by the said external forces.
After all, "the black man or woman is capable of managing his or her own affairs".

  3. This makes me wonder, does The States supporting Liberian President change anything on the taken decision of barring her from office? - How are they supporting her exactly?
